 to build this website. It a fully-managed solution to website creation. Took me super quick to crank it out. Cool, but it comes with some problems. 

 are auto-sync’ed and auto-deployed onto a public webpage. I’d like to see some version control + deployment progress indication. In general, the user experience around Super feels a bit restricting and black-boxy. As a result, my workflow is drafting under another Notion doc as a makeshift staging area before moving it into the website. Pretty bad.

Customized CSS is a paid feature. We’ve already seen problems with page header icons making the display look awkward. See

As a side note, Super has definitely been an interesting user experience. The final  site does not correlate 1:1 with the view in Notion. Sometimes that can get a bit confusing, especially around font and formatting. I wonder if there are better ways to solve this visual inconsistency… 

At least setting up this website has confirmed my hypothesis that content management via Notion is viable and a fun experience 🙂.

Ever since stumbling upon Paul Graham’s essays, I’ve always been inspired to write some of my own. I think that writing essays are a great way of organizing and formalizing my world views. I’ve also always envied writers because they can eloquently put together a sound argument - a skill I wish to develop by writing these posts. These essays will largely be opinion pieces, summarizing and (hopefully) convincing you of my perspective on topics of my interest. 

Largely, this website is fulfilling a promise I made to myself during the start of 2022 to be a 

 of content on the internet. This goal has been particularly important because I’ve always been interested in creating 

 for others. I figured at this stage in my life writing is the best way to go about doing that. If anyone reading my essays is able to derive any benefit then I’ve succeeded in my goal.

I invite people to comment and debate about the content that I put out. Such feedback helps me in a myriad of ways.
